Yamaha Bikes Models

In this article we will talk about different models of Yamaha bikes.Motorcycle Models are categorised according to their release year.

 

Yamaha first product was one cylinder 125cc motor cycle. Its name was YA-1.

 

Second product was 2 stroke YA-2 in 1957.

 

Yamaha launched YD-2 two stroke double cylinder 250CC bike in 1957.

 

Yamaha first five speed transmission motor bike was YDS-1 which was also 250cc and was double stroke.

In 1965 first 305cc motor bike was launched.

 

Yamaha launched its first 650cc four stroke XS-1 bike in 1968.

XS-750 was launched in 1977 followed by XS-1100 in 1978.

 

Yamaha YZ-250 is the long lasting model from 1974 till now.

 

1000cc YZF R1 was intorduced in the market in 1998.

 

Most of the above mentioned models belong to Yamaha sports bikes.

 

Yamaha Motors is one of the top vendor in the manufacturing of motor bikes. Yamaha is Japan based motor company and is in bike industry since 1955.
