Regrettably I am having to sell my bike as I am buying a house in a
couple of months. This bike was actually the first RVF400 imported into
the country - I'm told it was imported specially for the owner of a bike
shop (can't remember which one). I looked at at least 10 bikes before
buying this one, and anyone who knows me knows I don't touch bikes that
aren't clean as a whistle.
The bike is in very good condition both aesthetically and
mechanically. I bought it with 32,000kms completely stock as a rock. It
has the original fairings. The following things have been done to it
during my reign:
- Wheels sprayed white
- Tyga carbon fibre slip on exhaust
- Tyga carbon fibre chain guard
- Talon rear sprocket
- Carby and air filter cleaned, bike tuned by Harley @ RB Racing (it pushed about 63hp IIRC)
- Tyga black levers
- New Dunlop GPR-a12 Tyres (about 2,000kms old now)
- Suspension set up for 75kg rider
- Motobatt Gel battery (more power, and can sit for 8-10 weeks without starting and will start first go)
- SBS Front HH rated sports brake pads
- New Metalgear front discs
- New HH rated rear brake pads
- New grips and bar ends
- HRC Tank Pad from Honda
- Chain lube every 300-400km
