One and a half classic UJM motorbikes. The one is 673cc of 1982
old-school, air-cooled balls - 65 bhp, 203kg- surprisingly compact,
registered till April 2013 and in very good condition. The half is a
parts bike plus a large stash of very useful spares/alternative parts
including:
* Rickman CR replica single seat
* Used but excellent factory original exhaust (NB: 1 exhaust collar fractured which is why not fitted))
* Used and tatty but sound 4-1exhaust.
* z1r bikini (no screen)
* various service parts, gaskets to keep it in top nick - filters, carb kit, a complete standard exhaust etc.
Plus have 70% of a 1981 GS650E for parts. Major bits missing are
seat, tank, fr.guard, footpegs, chain. This spares bike has been
neglected so there is significant corrosion to some parts.
Owned the '82 since 2007. My idea was to cafe this running '82 bike
bit-by-bit. Or maybe create two GS650E's - a tourer and a Rickman
CR750/900 cafe racer tribute. Only got as far as front-end overhaul.
Reality is family and old-house-maintenance stuff take priority - lucky
if I ride-once-a-season. Being sold to free up shed space - this is too
good to sit in the weather.
