This bike has been set up to ride across Australia, whether it be
via the Gunbarrel highway to Alice, Canning Stock Route to the
Kimberley, the Savannah Way to Cairns, or via Cameron's corner or simply
tarmac'ing it
The bike is only one of three in WA, and only about 60 in total across Australia.
BMW's 1200cc Boxer air-cooled proven reliability; low maintenance
shaft drive, along with the very special Paris-Dakar-derived chassis
make this a bare-bones purist motorcycle which can either have fun on
the bitumen using the motards, or after about 15 minutes in the shed can
be re-wheeled with the cross-spoke tubeless enduro wheelset for hitting
the endless firetrails we have in WA.
A 12V outlet gives the ability to use a 12V air compressor to
re-inflate should you require, and I have a Garmin Zumo 550 GPS mount
ready which has been hardwired (GPS Not included in sale) into the
bike's electrics.
