Rego ran out 4 years ago and hasn't been ridden since.
I am only the second owner of this great bike. I was hanging onto
her as the value on these iconic workhorses are only going to go up, but
I am desperate for the garage space.
I regularly started and ran the motor until the battery died about a
year ago. In this time a small oil leak has begun. It appears to be the
oil seal around the gear select lever, probably dried and split and
should be an easy fix. The brakes have gone a bit stiff and squeeky too.
Other than these 2 problems she's in fantastic condition. She has a new
battery, all the electricals and lights work, there's heaps of tread on
the tyres, very low kms (genuine) for a 30+ year old bike and the thing
I love best about her is that even on icy cold mornings or hot summer
arvos she starts on the very first touch of the start button first go
every time. She's got a few old age signs to be expected - the worst I
have included in the photos.
The bike will be sold as is with no rego or roadworthy certificate. Serious buyers should contact me for an inspection.
