1982 Honda XR500R - VMX (Vintage Motorcross)
This bike is perfect for the open vintage class (MX or Vinduro) and
it can be registered as it has an Australian compliance plate.
(Would need to connect up tail light & indicators)
The bike is in great condition for it's age, looks good and rides well, engine/gearbox is strong and healty.
- Rear tyre has barely been riden on
- Brand new front & rear sprocket with new o-ring chain (never riden on)
- New seat cover & hand grips
- New Honda stickers on fuel tank, but they are not sticking on properly
(bubbling,see photos)
Comes with
- Spare rear shock/spring assembly(suit re-build)
- Speedo head & cable
- Mirror, Horn and some lighting odds and ends (see photos)
- Workshop manual
The bike had recreational rego, but expired a couple of years ago.
If it suits the purchaser, I can re-register the bike before I hand it
over (probably easier as it's last been registered in my name)
