I love this bike. But I have two children and just don't use it enough
to warrent keeping :( Aren't the SVs beautiful? Especially in silver.
And this one sounds beautiful, too, because it is fitted with a
Staintune exhaust with removable baffles. Sounds like a Ducati with the
baffles out.
This bike has been very well looked after. Always run on premium 98
fuel (though it can run on anything). Mostly serviced at Springwood
Suzuki, with some minor services done at home using the best quality oil
etc. Has always been in the carport or in our garage in our previous
home. Brake pads and disks are near new. I have a brand new chain and
sprockets ready to install, but the current ones have plenty left in
them. If you promise to look after her, I can also give you my Kaneg
bike stand, in perfect condition, worth $100. You can also have the
Ventura rack and bag. So lots of extras, but please, no bargaining --
she'll get upset.
Bodywork is in perfect condition (yes, the photos are real and the
same bike!), except for one or two little chips. There is a little hole
in the fabric of the pillion seat. It must just happen over time,
because I never carry a pillion.
One last note: while the SVs get great reviews and are a great
all-round sports bike, many owners complain about the vague, cheap front
suspension. My brother's bike was unpleasant to ride on b-roads because
it had the cheap, stock suspension, whereas this bike has upgraded
(Gold) front forks. You will notice how much better it rides than other
SVs as soon as you go over a bump and it could mean the difference
between staying on and crashing.
