This is a 1963 Matchless G12 CSR 650 Sports, 6000 original miles, it is
a ex police bike and the Interim model and you already know it is rare
as you know what, I think there is about one in Australia, this one.
The bike is totally UN restored right down to never been repainted
since it left the factory those 49 years ago, it is too cool to spoil
with new paint.
When I got the bike the motor was stuck from sitting for X years so
motor rebuilt by a good mate and apart from doing road worthy stuff
nothing else was touched apart from cleaning and service where required
leaving the patina is deserves.
I have replaced the hand levers as the originals were missing when I got the bike.
