1948 BSA M33 Motorcycle in excellent condition. This motorcycle was
purchased from a private owner about 8 years ago. It had been completely
restored down to every nut & bolt but was unpainted and needed a
few more parts to finish it off. The motor and gearbox had been fully
reconditioned. It came with a sidecar but this hadn't been completed. It
cost me $4000 in 2005.
I finished off the motorcycle with paintwork and chrome, and it was a
beauty. I had other bikes so I only went for 4-5 rides and then put it
back in the shed. After a couple of years I pulled it out and it
wouldn't start so I had it looked at and it was fully pulled apart to
check everything at a cost of $800 (still have receipts). When it came
back it went like a dream, but again, it only did 2-3 rides before going
back in the shed.
