Key Responsibilities: As instructed by written or spoken instructions, schematics, drawings, or specifications, repairs, installs, and inspects electronics or electronic systems. Maintains the organization's electronic systems and makes the required operational modifications. identifies the need for new parts or materials and a reasonable repair strategy; then, it takes the necessary steps to address those needs and completes the repairs. Assures that appropriate materials are used throughout electrical systems and that local, state, and federal electrical codes are adhered to. Oversees and installs wiring and cables, splicing as necessary.
