Seeking Competent and Skilled CNC Programmers Job Description Responsibilities Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machine tools (e.g., lathes, mills, routers) using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360). Translate engineering drawings and models into executable CNC code. Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and coolants for optimal machining performance. Simulate CNC programs to identify and resolve potential errors or collisions. Optimize programs to minimize cycle times, reduce tool wear, and improve material utilization.
