Job Title: Electrical Technician Location: Bangalore Job Type: Full-Time Company: Gigin Salary: 15000-20000/- Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrical Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. The Electrical Technician will work closely with other team members to ensure all electrical components are operating safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Installation: Install electrical systems and components according to blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems, including testing and inspections to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing downtime.
- Wiring: Install and maintain wiring, outlets, switches, and other electrical components.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.
- Equipment Management: Maintain and repair electrical equipment, including motors, generators, transformers, and control systems.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of all work performed, including maintenance logs, inspection reports, and repair records.
- Collaboration: Work with engineers, project managers, and other technicians to support project goals and deadlines.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest electrical technologies and best practices, and recommend improvements to existing systems.
Qualifications: - Diploma or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including AC/DC circuits, wiring, and control systems.
- Familiarity with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools, such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to job sites as needed.
