We invite you to join us in sacred space to celebrate the new season. Imbolc is the midpoint between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox. A gentle early Spring festival where we can start to celebrate the new season. Often associated with purity white and new beginnings. As we begin to observe the first signs of Spring the green shoots start to show through the dark soil after the long winter. The Sun grows higher in the sky as daylight hours become noticeably longer. While February is traditionally still the coldest month in the year you often get a glimpse of Spring and know that the warmer days will be with us soon. In the Celtic Shamanic tradition Bridgit is remembered at this time of year as the Goddess of healing midwifery poetry and smithcraft. She can be called upon to bring in new energy into someone’s life and is a protector of hearth and home.
