Recently, more and more public sectors in different countries have joined the effort to save costs and, at the same time, improve efficiency. In general, the construction industry has a relative weight in the relevant GDP and is of concern to a large part of the public sector. This is how several EU and UK countries were pioneers in the adoption of BIM in public projects, which forces all parties involved to adopt a collaborative process that reduces inefficiencies and increases the productivity of the Construction Industry. What started as an impulse started by the EU directive, has gradually become the standard in the countries that have included BIMen in Public Tender projects.
