Planting Organization In Pakistan | Chhaaon - Karachi

Chhaoon is a collection of citizens from various backgrounds working towards improving public spaces in Karachi.The group has been active since 2015 and has planted over 10,000 large indigenous trees in schools, universities and public spaces where a maintenance system is in place.In September 2020 the group formalized its structure and launched ‘CHHAAON’ at the QUAID-E-AZAM’S MAZAR. The ceremony started with Members, guests and their families planting 450 trees in the forested area of the Mazar. The planting session was appreciated by the participants.
