all these elements and blends modern technology with an affordable
price for an unbeatable cruiser combination. The VL1500LC receives
several new changes for 2002 including a new dual disc set-up with
lightweight front brake calipers and a new 4-piston rear caliper. Other
features include a new rear brake pad material combined with a new
drilled rear disc for improved performance and lighter weight, plus
chrome plated covers are mounted on the turn signal stays front and
rear. The big VL utilizes an air/oil-cooled 1500cc V-twin powerplant
tuned to produce peak torque at just 2300 rpm and is geared to turn a
leisurely 2700 rpm at 65 mph.
