Hornwort is a very hardy and versatile plant. It is cold tolerant so it can be used with goldfish as well as with tropical fish. It is fast growing. It is a free floating plant (it has no roots), however it can be anchored in the substrate. It makes great cover for fry and other fish trying to escape each other. It helps to oxygenate the water as well as improving the water quality be removing toxins. Another great thing about Hornwort is that it can inhibit blue-green algae growth, which can get out of hand very fast with too much light and organic waste. You will be getting a large handful size.
