It is not customary for the
approval of an H1b visa to be impacted by Day 1 CPT. However, the USCIS may ask
for additional documentation (RFE) to demonstrate that the overseas student has
been preserving legal status after they are awarded an H1b visa after working
through Day
1 CPT. H1B work visa for a full-time job. But you cannot continue to use
the CPT and OPT in order to work for a longer period of time. You must obtain
the much sought-after H1B work visa. Employers issue H1B visas; you are not
able to apply for one on your own. For this specific degree level, OPT
eligibility is cancelled after a year of full-time CPT. For students to avoid
being denied OPT after graduation, they must make sure they use CPT for no
longer than 11 months or part-time CPT.
