Najera has been in education since 2001.
Starting in Los Angeles, California as a bilingual educator in grades 3-5. She
moved to New York City in 2006 to continue her career in an urban setting and
had the opportunity to teach at the elementary school level and help students
as a Math Coach. Also, she is deeply involved in community outreach and
