It's rolling chassis was completed April 23, 1997, and its 428ci SCJ V8 engine was built by noted engine builder, Stan Johnson of Ford Powertrain Puyallup, WA. The engine is equipped with a fully balanced rotating assembly with resized LeMans rods, aluminum Cobra Jet heads by Bliss, Blue Thunder aluminum intake with correct Holley 780 carburetor with Turkey Baster, and sends power through a Toploader 4-speed manual transmission with 3.54 Dana rear end.
