Designed as both an original interpretation of the Bleu Blanc classic and a modern bowl with reference to the ancient form of traditional Japanese tea bowls, this product was born as a multifunctional design, a hybrid of a glass and a bowl. It is hand-shaped from spotted stoneware clay using the pinching method. Considering food safety; the inner surface is glazed with a glossy transparent glaze, while the outer surface is glazed with a matt transparent glaze to prevent stains without compromising the natural appearance of the clay, and fired at high temperatures
