For Basic Fares, cancellations are not allowed, and the
ticket is non-refundable and non-changeable. However, passengers may cancel
their WestJet
Airlines Cancellation Policy booking within 24 hours of purchase for a full
refund if the flight departs at least seven days later.
For Econo, EconoFlex, and Premium Fares, cancellations made
more than 24 hours after booking will result in a fee, with the remaining
balance credited as a Travel Bank credit for future use. The amount of the fee
depends on factors like the destination and whether the flight is domestic or
international.
For Business Fares, cancellations are fully refundable to
the original form of payment if made 24 hours after booking and before the
flight departs. However, cancellations made within 24 hours of booking are also
refundable, provided the flight departs at least seven days later.
In case of flights canceled by WestJet, passengers are
eligible for a full refund to the original payment method, regardless of the
fare class.
WestJet also offers the option to change or cancel flights
online via their website or app. Passengers who opt for WestJet Vacations
packages should refer to specific policies, as they might differ from regular
flight bookings.
