Ocean Bay Recovery is a small private boutique addiction treatment centre, nestled in the pristine coastal hamlet of St Francis Bay, Eastern Cape, a short 1-hour drive from the nearest international airport in Nelson Mandela Bay. Our holistic and evidence-based approach to primary care addiction treatment addresses the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual aspects of each individual client. We focus on highly personalised continuum of care through a well-rounded, individually customised treatment plan that addresses the underlying causes of addiction and helps our clients to develop the skills and tools they need to maintain long-term sobriety. We are a professionally licensed and registered addiction treatment facility registered with most medical benefit schemes. Substance use disorders and addiction are complex and multifaceted. Our clients present with different levels of addiction severity, co-occurring mental health conditions, and personal circumstances. Our individually customised treatment plans using the ASAM Continuum enables our clinical team to address these unique needs by combining various evidence-based treatment modalities, such as behavioural therapies and peer support groups, amongst others. Our personalised approach helps our clients to address the underlying causes of their addiction, develop coping strategies, and acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to achieve and maintain long-term recovery. Ocean Bay Recovery is a small boutique residential establishment with a maximum in-take of 10 clients at any one time, providing unparalleled addiction treatment. Greater St Francis is renowned for its variety of outdoor offerings including beaches, waterway canals, Kromme River and river mouth, Port St Francis Harbour, nature reserves, hiking trails, golf courses, surf spots and more. An integral aspect of our treatment is connecting our clients to the great outdoors and nature in the pursuit of reconnecting to that part of themselves that knew how to have fun before addiction overcame their lives.
